Just a reminder that certain agents (read Jimmy Sexton) make sure that their clients names are floated with multiple openings, even if they aren't actually candidates. Therefore the following coaches will SEEM highly in demand, but may only be contacted by 1 school or no schools.

1. Tommy Tubberville
2. Jimbo Fisher
3. Will Mushchamp
4. Houston Nutt
5. Gene Chizik
6. Mike Gundy
7. Lane Kiffin
8. Kirby Smart
9. David Cutcliffe

Muschamp and Fisher probably don't want to move, but may leverage a raise. The others may look to taken a step up, or find a new place after being fired.

He doesn't have to play the Sexton game...

When he wants to leave, he will leave and get paid well to do so.

Nutt was the king of getting extensions by attaching his name to every job opening

Fulmer is a backstabbing bastard. Especially the shite he pulled with Majors.

One of these names is not like the others...

Actually, he's not even a Sexton client anymore.

When did that happen?

I know Fulmer parted ways with Sexton too after he felt he brokered Kiffin into his spot.

Chiz dumped Sexton when he was hired by AU. It was reported that Sexton was not part of the contract negotiations.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Jacobs, having been pantsed by Sexton when renegotiating Tubs' deal in '07 (and again when Tubs 'resigned' in '08), insisted to his good buddy Chiz that he could have the job only if they parted ways.

I'd prefer Tennessee never deal with Sexton again.
