You know he sees Pete Carroll having this success in the NFL. You know he would probably love to beat him after 2003. Plus you know he probably wants success at that level. Chances he waits and talks to the Cardinals just to be in the same division as Seattle?

If lil' Nicky goes anywhere in the NFL, it will be Cleveland. He has ties there.

I agree. He's still well respected in Cleveland and he enjoyed his time there.

He's not going to the Cardinals with that QB situation
I can't see Saban waiting on Weeden to develop either

No QB, not gonna happen. I would've liked if chip Kelly would've gone there and been in the same division as harbaugh and Carroll.

About the same as the LSU fan base dropping the obsession of their jilted love.

I don't think Saban has that drive anymore. He found out in the NFL that many of the advantages he gets on the college level simply aren't there in the NFL.

Saban can't do what Carroll has done. He just can't...and he knows it.

The Cleveland franchise Saban worked for, now resides in Baltimore

And the AZ cardinals are the worst frnachise to work for, the ownership is cheapest of cheap. They make employees pay for everything. I dont see them putting up any big money

Id say at this point, it has nothing to do with the fact that he use to coach at LSU. At least for me it doesnt. I would like to see Bama weakened. It helps LSU if they are. Thats it and thats all. At this point, Saban doesnt even register as a former LSU coach to me.

Talked to a friend of Saban's over the holidays. He said Saban has way more he wants to accomplish in his professional career AFTER Bama and mentioned the NFL. I have no idea what it means but the guy has been a trusted friend for a long time (could be being a general manager, coach, who knows). TIFWIW.
