Was just told from someone I know that he is gone. Don't know if he was let go or decided to move on. Don't know where he is headed either. This is from someone whose son is a current d lineman at LSU.

I think Coach "O"'s hiring was kind of fast and they will probably do a better photo in time.

Miles yesterday mentioned there were 4 defensive guys on staff. Well, Steele, Orgeron, and Raymond make 3. Furthermore, it looks as if Steele is listed only as Defensive Coordinator and has not been given the dual role of LBs coach.

Does that mean Brick is coaching LBs as soon as the NCAA vote happens?

The question was always how they would get Orgeron in if Steele was hired? And it was believed by some for it not to be possible. Others suggested moving a coach to an administrative position until the vote. I believe moving Brick to intern was the way.

quote:

When asked about the status of Haley, the Tigers' defensive line coach for the past six seasons, Miles said, "Brick, first of all, has done a great job. His contribution here is valued and respected. He's currently an intern for us. We encourage him."

quote:

Miles was then asked about the benefits of Haley staying and whether he was making a pitch to keep him.

"Well, certainly those are things that he (Haley) would speak to, not I," Miles said. "But the good news is he's in position to do the things that he wants to do."

However, maybe Peveto is the other one he was referring to who is also listed as Defensive assistant along with his primary title of Special Teams coordinator.
