It never really seemed plausible in the first place, but with each passing day, it certainly makes it all the more apparent that Saban is not leaving Bama.

Plenty of people believe it. Plenty of people also believe that we never landed on the moon too.

I'm not sure why you think anything has really changed just because it wasn't immediate.

To me it's still 50% until Brown is out and another coach is in there. Why is it less likely to you now?

Several interesting point on Finebaum show.
1. There is no opening "Right Now" for him to take.
2. There is nothing else going on in the sports world to really cover right now!
3. Neither University has done a good job of officially announcing an offer or deflecting an offer and its kind of becoming an embarrassment to both universities.

yeh best coach in the country...at the top of most teams list...with a university that can afford to pay him more than any other...not plausible at all. Not to mention his track record for changing jobs.

that can be viewed the other way also...just saying.

What's changed to make you believe it won't happen?

I've always felt the earliest anything would happen with Saban would be Monday.

They weren't going to do it before the Heisman ceremony, and Mack was expected to step down either today or tomorrow. Nothing has really veered off schedule thus far, so I'm not getting the OP's logic.

That is one HUGE indicator...if they truly have a contract in place with Saban, why is Brown still the coach...fire him...he should have been fired the second he arrived in Austin after losing to Baylor if this "has been done for months".

I think it is far more likely Brown is the Texas coach next season THAN ANY OTHER SUPPOSED candidate mentioned...let alone Saban.
