Any real interest from Michigan confounds me.

Miles strength is unquestionably recruiting. He's not the best but he is elite and his success is predicated purely on the talent he lures to his program.

His weakness is unquestionably coaching. He's not the worst, but I believe he is subpar in virtually every aspect of actual coaching--teaching the game, fundamentals, game planning, game and clock management, player development, etc.

I know he has a track record but his recent history has raised enormous questions about his ability to rebuild a program. Other than his status as "a Michigan man", what could possibly be the attraction?

Miles would stabilize that program. Hoke got good athletes to go there and Miles is a beast recruiter. He's a good coach and he knows how to win. He does boneheaded shite sometimes, but the proof is there. He has never won less than 8 games in 10 years in the best conference in the nation. I know people think that the talent coaches itself, but it's just not the case. He would immediately breathe life back into that program.

I have been saying this. Michigan just tried the lovable idiot who recruits well, can't speak English, runs a garbage offense, and has a great defensive coordinator. Time for something new.

Les would win at Michigan and win big. You losers don't deserve a great coach like Les. He's the only coach yall can get that will give UM a chance to beat Ohio St. Unfortunately for yall you won't get Les.

right, Because who would want a coach that brought a team to two national championship games? They'd be crazy to want someone like that that also represents his school well and gets along with the boosters.

You can criticize QB development and occasional clock management, but his game planning and game day coaching are not subpar. They are above average. All coaches have game day gaffes. Mullen and Mark Richt make Miles look like a game day genius. I have a feeling you just don't like Miles and are blinded by your prejudice and are being selectively critical. The man knows what he is doing. He knows how to build and sustain a program.

Sounds like your entire Athletic Administration

UM deserves another shitty coach and that's probably what they'll end up.with.

Michigan would want him for the same reason our AD was scared to lose him: he has a record of winning a lot of games. ADs want to cover their backsides. If they get Miles and he fails, they can fall back on the fact that they hired a NC winning coach.
From the ADs perspective, he is low risk, no matter how good an actual coach he is.

You really think they get drafted based on their development in college or their raw talent?

Yeah, the players just come from high school hang out 3-4 years with no development credited to the coaches in college and then get drafted in the nfl. Makes a lot of sense.

Discredit anything positive by lsu through any means necessary with a lot of you.

i think the positigers' sole purpose is to dupe other school's fans into thinking miles is a good coach while trolling lsu fans.

Yeah, because being one of the top 5 winningest coaches in SEC history definitely points to bad coaching.
