The Sports Rant, who knows what that site is good for, is reporting that Golden is leaving. They are stating the bowl ban (self imposed) and tired of waiting for NCAA. Could be penalties harsher than thought.

They state a possible is SEC, I don't know what to think of for this one.

He'll take any job possible. Miami really screwed him over; I'd take him if Alabama had to replace Saban. I love the way he coaches and his style

Not really. Golden was committing his own violations when he was supposed to be cleaning things up.

Would be a much better hire for Tennessee or Arkansas than Gruden, not that either is getting Gruden.

I'd be fine with AU hiring him.

We could do a lot worse. I think he could very well end up here or at Tenner. Not sure he would leave for UK though

He knew Miami was in trouble when he inexplicably signed that extension.

Dude could've done so much better.

my friend who writes for a school in the ACC said he wouldn't be surprised if Golden took the BC job when it became available. He's that desperate to get out of miami.

Al Golden hasn't done a lick at Miami and never beat a MAC team at Temple with a winning record. Al Golden - all style no substance.

I don't think he's a bad coach, just in the absolute crappiest of situations. As far as I'm concerned he will either bounce for a "lower-profile" job (i.e., any school without sanctions that is mid-tier such as Central Michigan [i.e., what he came from] or some BCS school will get jilted by a high profile candidate) and reach for him.

This.

Vandy is like Bama compared to how bad Temple was before Golden.

It also helped Golden at Temple that Temple was playing in the MAC after being booted from the Big East. Our opinions differ.

Don't hate on the MAC. The Michigan MAC Trophy is my favorite in all of college football. A 3 way trophy? Brilliant.
