Both are for sure capable of the recruiting. The gameplanning is what I question

You have a track coach, DC, and players. Please let us know if La can provide anything more to your "athletic program".

Liucci has maintained the entire time that the most likely scenario is that A&M would pass on Brick.

Well I hope he lands on his feet. With all of the O&G layoffs that are here and on the near horizon, we as fans look at these guys as faceless pieces that don't have families to feed.

Hope he gets paid somewhere, as for all of these guys who get laid off.

/back to a hole mode.

Quote: A & M would pass on Brick

That's an interesting dynamic. Sumlin won't let Chavis hire his own staff but is making him use Sumlin's guys; wouldn't have thought that would fly with Chavis, but you never know.

My cousin's son has autism and it's a nerve racking problem. It's hard to handle, you don't know what to do without offending the parents. Even if they're cousins. I hope we keep him with a decent salary. Autism special school is very expensive. My cousin's wife is an RN and all of her salary goes to the child's school costs. I support Brick Haley at LSU.

Hmm, chief leaves and doesn't bring one assistant with him??
Someone wasn't very popular...
And we pick up Steel and Big O?
When this started it looked like we might be losing two assistants and a DC. Now we have an excess. My guess is that Brick has come to an agreement to finish up the recruiting season with us. No idea what happens after that but I would be surprised to see him pushing papers for long...could still be leaving as well

One rumor that's been floated by non-mod insiders on Gigem247 is that the original plan was for RB coach McKinney to follow David Beatty to Kansas as OC. Then Special Teams/TE coach Banks was going to drop TEs and take over RBs, while current LB coach Hagen was going to take over TEs. That would have opened a spot on the defensive staff.

Only Kansas isn't paying their coordinators as much as McKinney was making, so McKinney hasn't left. Things might shake out more after NSD, though.
