I'm thinking yes; Bran is going to play a big role in revealing Jon's parentage to him while he's in Ghost/in a coma.

Aerys should be either:
Christopher Walken
Willem Dafoe
or
Gary fricking Busey

Gary Busey certainly has the crazy part down.
I tend to think Bill Nighy would be a good to play Aerys. He's basically in every period piece sort of film, why not a RR movie series?
Also agree with Eric Northman or Thor portraying Rhaegar. The actor who played Viserys could work but I think Hodors would get confused by having the same actor play 2 Targ brothers in different films.
ETA: This guy does good Christopher Walken impressions as well as GoT ones:
GoT Steve Love 1
Steve Love 50 Shades of Impressions
Westerosi Harmony

Who plays Arthur Dayne?
Asharra Dayne?
Asharra Dayne?

No idea. Arthur Dayne looks like he has dat Targ hair on the AWOIAF page. And as horrible as it sounds I don't think a whole lot about him or the rest of Aerys's dead kingsguardsmen because we don't know much about them aside from what Jaime, Barristan, or even Ned said about them. They seemed kind of boring to me.
Sadly I think the odds of a Robert's Rebellion trilogy or HBO miniseries is slim to none. Fat Man says he'll have "the rest of what we need to know from RR" revealed in the last 2 books, but we'll see.
Although I would imagine that if GRRM wrote a RR book that the Barristan POV's would be him in the friendzone with Ashara and JonCon is the friendzone with Rhaegar. I would pay money to read Robert's POV's, which would basically be summed up by: "Bring me wine! I want to crack skulls and frick whores! I'm infatuated with Lyanna even though I barely know her!" Ned's POVs would be kind of boring compared to Robert, basically him doing his 'duties' and being pissed at Brandon. And I imagine the Lyanna and Rhaegar POVs would be the most fun .

Jamie's POVs would be solid too.
And GRRM doesn't need to write a RR book to make a movie or miniseries, I think we have enough material to do it as is.

That's all and well with the books, but I bet the average Hodor couldn't tell us who Rhaegar and Lyanna are.

I am 90% positive they only mentioned her once, in the first episode.

They mentioned Lyanna in the drinking scene between Robert and Cersei.

They haven't mentioned her since the first season, and have only mentioned Rhaegar once since then. Something tells me when it's revealed on the show, a lot of Hodors are going to be pissed since there has so far been no foreshadowing to Jon's true parentage.

I'm actually kind of annoyed that the show hasn't mentioned them since season 1; are D&D trying to set it up for pure shock value to the Hodors when it's revealed that Rhaegar and Lyanna are Jon's parents? Or are they really not his parents?
Another thing the show has done a bad job with is The Mountain; barely showed the guy outside of the Tourney of the Hand episode in S1 and briefly at Harenhal in S2. How are they going to build him up this season for the fight with Oberyn? The show has briefly mentioned that he was responsible for killing Elia and her babies and how the Hound hates him but not much else otherwise.

Yea, Lyanna is going to be a huge WTF for the Hodors. Hell, Rhaegar will be too.
I have to admit, it would tickle my fanboy fancy if Skarsgard was Rhaegar.

They need to utilize Bran this season to tell all the backstory behind Robert's Rebellion and the Knight of the Laughing Tree. It'd be cool if they used some sort of old timed animation to tell it, similar to how The Tale of Three Brothers in The Deathly Hallows

Pretty much all Arya has to do this season is abandon the Hound and recapture Needle. I'd change Arya and the Hound's arc this season to where the Mountain is hunting them down. You could still get that scene in where the Hound says "Gold on the North Shore, or Steel on the South" and is instead trying to flee his brother's forces. That is one of my favorite scenes in the book and was sad to see it cut from the show.

They've done an awful job with The Mountain. Not only is his role too small, season 4 will be the third actor to play him. Here is the third guy to play The Mountain

I've wondered if they're going to add more to the Arya & the Hound arc so that she doesn't leave for Braavos until the end of S4.
I think this season is going into AFFC for some of the characters as well. There's set pictures of Brienne & Pod together, so I'm wondering how they're going to progress her story, and if the Quiet Isle happens this season (and if D&D would use Rory McCann to be the Gravedigger; would basically confirm that Sandor=Gravedigger).
As much as I bitch about Brienne's chapters in AFFC, I think they could make it a lot more interesting for the show. I imagine D&D writing skills will be tested greatly for S5. I think they could make S5 interesting and perhaps end it with the Battle of Mereen or Winterfell, and bring some TWoW material to the forefront.
I also think it's likely that since they're trying to whitewash Daenerys that they'll cut Quentyn from the show.

The closer we get to this season, the more I get impatient. Less than 3 months away (99% positive it's going to premiere March 30th).

Robert went down to her crypt as soon as he got to Winterfell, pissed Cersei off.
She also came up in a conversaion between Cersei & Ned.
Then Bran went down there hiding from Theon and told the story of Rhaegar kidnapping her.
