Thanks for posting .

Based on the pattern of GRRM with ADWD, how many sample chapters did he release before the book came out, just so we can gauge how much of TWoW he may have completed so far? Like did he only release 10 ADWD chapters, so maybe he'll release like 3 more TWoW?

I'm assuming this girl will play Leaf?

And does this mean there will be no Coldhands?

Yeah she is going to play Leaf. I really don't think there will be a Coldhands. It would be hard to have him in, especially if the show has a chance of revealing him before Martin does.

I agree. I don't think Coldhands will appear but I 100% believe we'll see Lady Stoneheart in S4. Michelle Fairley is with GRRM and Lena Headey in Australia right now doing some conventions but I definitely think that LS won't be written off from the show.

Also, this is a very good article about how they just finished filming the Purple Wedding. The article states that it was one of the biggest productions for the show thus far.

quote:

In terms of principal cast members in attendance, the Royal Wedding was one of the largest scenes we’ve filmed since the premiere season, with 23 named parts appearing on any given day. In addition, we were delighted to welcome 218 extras as guests to the event, some of them travelling from the other side of Europe and the United States to be a part of the experience. Lookout for some familiar faces in the crowds – Pixie Le Knot is back this year, and one of our crew makes an appearance with the entertainers.

I think there were rumors but they were never substantiated with photos from what I remember.

Also, there's an interview from this week with Lena and Michelle and George.

Bu the Littlefinger page also lied about the Ironborn casting a month ago (casting for Euron, Aeron, and Victarion).

I was bummed when I found out because I thought some of the casting was good.

And I watched parts of the interview that I posted, and da fuq is up with Lena Headey's hair and outfit!?! She has a great figure for her age and shouldn't dress like a hipster-meets-grandma.

Crackpot theory time: The stone giant that had no head, but darkness and black blood from the vision Bran has is not Ser Gregor, but Littlefinger. The other two from the vision are clearly Jaime and The Hound, but they are standing over Arya, Sansa, and Ned. The Hound and Jaime had a lot to do with these respected characters stories, but I really see no reason why Ser Gregor would be involved. The closest he's gotten to one if the Starks was when he captured Arya.

Littlefinger towers over them all, and is the biggest current threat to House Stark. The darkness represents his dark heart and soul, his headlessness is a reference for his need to consume everything, and the black blood represents his low birth.

Edit: No, on second thought, the beautiful man armored in gold is Joffrey. He was a direct threat to all 3 of them, but Littlefinger still towers over him.

Where are you getting all this info? I read all the books but don't know what you are squawking about. What else do I need to read?

He's talking about Bran's vision/dreams, its around the time he's in a coma or right after he wakes up.

There's also the Ghost of High Heart vision that mentions a "giant" and I think that refers to Littlefinger as well. His family's sigil is the Titan of Braavos, which is stone. So a stone giant in Bran's dream=Littlefinger, and the giant in the GoHH prophecy could also symbolize Littlefinger as well. I still think the last prophecy hasn't occurred yet, while some fans think it was as simple as Sansa building the Winterfell snow castle at the end of ASoS.
quote:

“And later I dreamt that maid again, slaying a savage giant in a castle built of snow.”

Sansa slaying Littlefinger in Winterfell, perhaps?? I doubt that it's referring to the Mountain.

It would be about time she did something useful

Eh, I think Sansa is a very interesting character. In fact, she's become one of my favorites. It certainly doesn't help that GRRM left out Sansa POV's in ADWD, because I imagine some big things are about to happen in her POV.

I'm almost sure this will happen, and I hope she does it by saving Tyrion and using the dragonbone dagger that Littlefinger used to start the war between the Starks and the Lannisters.

Me too. Her evolution from a starry eyed Princess to a player in the "game" has been fascinating. She will have a lot to say in the end game. "Winds of Winter" means the Starks are back in play.
