The funny thing is a lot of us have never met true villains like Joffrey, Ramsay, Qyburn, or the Mountain; but we've all known some Janos Slynt's, Grand Maester Pycelle kiss asses, etc. I loled when Janos says he has friends in King's Landing who will hear about this, and most of them are either dead or don't wield as much power.

I wouldn't mind Stannis sitting the Iron Throne FWIW. 1000-1 odds on that shite though.

Yeah, but he's gotta die to further Jon's arc IMO.

I'd like to see Stannis go out like a badass in a battle against the Others. I think both he and Mel are dead by the end of TWoW.

They might be dead within the first few chapters of WoW. Mel gives her life to save Jon like Lord Beric with Cat IMO

I follow all the GoT cast members on Instagram, and Pedro Pascal and Lena Headey look very cozyyyyyy in their pictures.

If Stannis dies the Baratheon male name would rest with only with Tommen, and in blood there would be no legitmate male heirs?

A lot of people posted on the Instagram pictures comments like "congrats!" And "they are banging."

Also, that actor Mark Gatiss is confirmed to play an Iron Bank of Braavos agent. Maybe I need to do an ASoS reread because I don't remember that character?

Something tells me he's simply there to threaten the Small Council about repaying their debt. He'll probably be more prominent in Season 5 when he gives loans to Jon and Stannis.

I was thinking the same thing. Was it just mentioned that the Lannisters didn't want to recognize Roberts debts or did he actually show up in King's Landing?

Definitely agree. Plus with Cersei heading more and more into batshit crazy territory post Joffrey's death, I think we'll see the agent around and how she doesn't want to pay the Crown's debts and all that. Spot on assessment in that the character from the Iron Bank will be shown in S5 support Stannis/Jon.

They would legitimize Edric. He's a bastard, but both of his parents are noble.

I could be completely wrong, but I think the odds of that happening are low since Edric was omitted from the show.

Out of the major houses, these are at risk for becoming defunct through the main families/lines i the next 2 books and not including unrecognized bastards:

-Lannister
-Tully
-Baratheon (Cersei's kids aren't Baratheon, Shireen has greyscale)
-Arryn (not including Harry the Heir)
-Targaryen ( [F]Aegon is not real and Dany will probably die towards end of series)
-Greyjoy (Theon was Varys'd and probably going to die, Asha probably going to die, Crow's Eye, Damphair, Victarion gonna dieeeee)

Houses who have better odds at not dying out:

-Stark
-Martell
-Tyrell

Dany won't have children and it would be very difficult to prove Aegon's birthrights.

-Lannister

Now that Sansa sees Baelish for what he is and is starting to see how unfair the world is, I see Tyrion actually rescuing her and their marriage continuing with children.

-Stark

This one rests with Rickon now. I see Rickon being the strongest of all the Starks in the end and I think Bran helping to look out for him through the network. The reason why I say Rickon will be the strongest is because he won't be raised with the naivety of Ned and Robb, he will be colder and more business like.

The Martell's will have their family cut down a lot when they enter the war with Aegon coming over. We will see how much of their line continues.

Tyrell's are coward enough to aid whoever is winning so i can see them surviving.

Baratheon is all but done. Stannis won't have another heir, he will die like a boss but won't have another heir. The only chance that the Baratheons have is for Brienne to bring Gendry to Stannis and he gives him the Baratheon name when seeing so much of his brothers in him.

Arryn is gone.

For some reason I see Edmure surviving and keeping the Tullys around. I think Roslin has a son to keep the name around.

Greyjoys will stay around too. They are survivers. Not sure who will keep it going but they will.

The family I am most interested in is the Freys. I see them sticking around but it would be amazing reading to see them all being hunted down.

Honestly, I could see Edmure's son growing up to be a very interesting character. Remember how haunted Rhaegar was by being conceived at the burning of Summerhall? Imagine how haunted a kid who was the product of the Red Wedding would be. If they do an epilogue that is years in the future, he's the person I'd most like to see.

The Freys are screwed. All the males will be hunted down and the non-married females will be sent off to the Silent Sisters.
