Never really thought of that. I always assumed Cersei hired Mandon

She would have mentioned that in her POVs if she had hired him.

Ned heard his sister's dying wish to keep her son away from the throne.

I think the only thing she asked of Ned was to cast aside his honor to save Jon from Robert's wrath.

Jamie pushed out of window, then Joffrey hired thug to finish job when unconscious...with that knife to pin on Tyrion. This was said from another POV, so not sure if fact (I) or opinion (II). I'm leaning toward (I) for simplicity's sake.

Both Tyrion and Jaime figured it out, so I'd say its a fact. God I hate Joffrey and I wish his death was worse.

He got off too easy. Cersei after reading the entire series is worse, but up until his death Joffrey is the most despicple character by far.

Duty and honor go both ways. Jon was the rightful heir to the throne.

I don't like Cersei, but I did have a tiny splash of pity for her in her last chapter.

Cersei is one of my favorite characters. (I'm probably in the miniority here, but Tyrion is the least favorite Lannister of mine.) I like how they made her a little more normal and sympathetic on the show. I sometimes feel like she's over the top in the books.

Just because I don't like Cersei doesn't mean I don't think she's a great character or that her chapters are bad. I don't particullarly like Theon, but I always love it when I come on his chapters.

I felt the most pity for her when she was thinking back on Rhaegar and Aerys breaking her dad's promise. Her marrying Rhaegar was probably her only shot at being a normal person and good queen.

I hated reading many of chapters in Feast. It made her chapters a chore. Brienne's chapters were the most boring in that book, though.

I do have some pity for her, don't get me wrong, but that doesn't change that she's a complete c*nt.

Jaime and Cersei's chapters were pretty much the only thing that got me through that book.

The King's Landing chapters in AFFC are some of the best in the whole series.

That's what I'm saying. I don't see how anyone can hate them. I got excited for those every time I turned the page and saw
