Excellent account of life with the dregs, forgotten, and self selected. Mickey Rourke played Bukowski in "Barfly". Recommend Bukowski to any aspiring writer or devotee of the other world.

I've read all 6 of his novels. They are quite interesting and honestly we're the first books I had ever read in the genre. Very entertaining stuff.

Post office is my favorite. Women was great in that I actually squirmed while reading

Dude had a way with words.

I enjoyed post office, but I'm halfway though women and I feel like it's just too much. Back to back I feel like it's getting tired, maybe I'll come back to it later.
