AlejandroInHouston LSU Fan New Orleans Member since Apr 2007 10871 posts Online	Sneak peak of Hornets new uniforms... (Posted on 7/20/08 at 11:06 a.m.) ...courtest of SurfShady.com, allowing me to browse HornetsReport.com since June of 2008. What do you guys think? I like these very much - I think they're a definite improvement and blend the Hornet's heritage of pinstripes with some New Orleans flair. Woooo!

(Posted on 7/20/08 at 1:11 p.m. to bballingenyus23) These are the creation of a Photoshop expert going by all the descriptions he's heard. A guy on HornetsReport.com who works for the team and who has seen design boards and photos of the actual new uniforms said that these are very very close to what the actual uniforms look like with the exception of a few minor tweaks.

He gave details and some guy replicated them the best he could to what they would look like. The guy who knows what the official ones look like said they are pretty close to the actual thing

The Hornets current uniforms were probably the worst in the league - especially the plain jain home whites. These uniforms are great - they give a nod to the roots of the franchise (are we really still so insecure about Charlotte? Come on guys - consider it a New Orleans seersucker if that helps) while having some New Orleans flair. The white ones are classy, and the road blues are gaudy in a good way. I really like them. Hope we have a purple alternate in the coming years (if not this year)
