Yes he hasn't had a great statistical year, but they haven't had great QB play. Still I think he is a guy that you should game plan for. He is one of the best receivers in the SEC, and I think he'll be good in the NFL. I think PP can cover him, but a good throw with a good receiver can beat good coverage. If we get decent pressure on the Bama QB, then Julio probably won't be a factor.

Bama is the media darling right now, and after the year they had last year and Nicki at the helm it makes for a good story which BTW is what ESPN & others are selling. He's a dangerous WR at 6'4" we'd be saying that he'll kill if he was ours.

Dude is overrated (Posted on 11/7/09 at 7:58 a.m. to SPEEDY) Speedy, While I agree with you his numbers are far from impressive, he's finally healthy for the first time this year and he had 7 catches against Tennessee. Couple that with an extra week to get healthy, he should be at 100% today. If we can shut down Bama's running game, they'll need Julio at full strength.

They haven't thrown to him much. When he does catch it, he's really tough to bring down. I agree with the previous post that he will be a stud in the NFL. All he needs is a more pass-oriented offense and some NFL-caliber coaching.
