SEC allstars
Mentioned in another thread. What if their were an SEC allstar team playing against an allstar team made up with the best from every other conference. What would the final score be? Offensive and Defensive MVP?

MVP
Mark Ingram of Bama. the oline would be sick. He could run backwards for 100 yards in that game.

Eric Norwood, He steps his game up compared to competition, He would make alot of stops along side Spikes and Mclain.

Could Spikes play in it or would he be suspended, maybe he could just play a half.

re: SEC allstars
The SEC defense would be sick. So sick that it wouldn't even be remotely fair. You'd have Eric Norwood, Rolando McClain, and Brandon Spikes playing linebacker behind a defensive line that could include players like Greg Hardy coming off the edge and Terrance Cody plugging up the inside. If somehow (and they wouldn't) a running back made it through the front 7 or a QB actually got a pass off without being sacked, the offense would be rudely introduced to players like Eric Berry and Patrick Peterson.

Wow. that puts it in perspective. They would probably beat the St Louis Rams

re: SEC allstars
The team would be ridiculous.

I wish I knew more of the players on other teams so I could make one up. I'd have to use too many Alabama guys because I don't know enough about other teams' players.

I could do part of it maybe...

D-Line: Hardy, Cody, Deadrick, (insert a great one from another team here)

Linebackers: Norwood, Spikes, McClain, Hightower.

Safeties: Berry, Maybe Woodall (I don't know. I would pick Barron if he was in his second year there)

DBs: Arenas, Jackson (Insert the Rest)

Running backs: Ingram (Pick the other guy)

Tight Ends: Peek (Pick the other)

QB: (Not sure about this one.... McElroy has never lost a game in his life... but..)

O-Line: Mike Johnson (Pick the rest)

Guessing your running a 3-4. I might throw in Rahim Alem.

Also put up Chad Jones

Might be idiocy not to put in Patrick Peterson

I would have to say that Tebow would be the obvious choice but Mallet would not be a bad second choice IMO.

re: SEC allstars
None of those are really reaching though. Chad Jones and Peterson are def All SEC Caliber, dunno about Alem though. Peterson is All American caliber.

re: SEC allstars
Colin Peek is a really good TE. Julio will get you lots of yds but Lafell and Toliver are gonna have to get the TD's. Julio will also get our team lots and lots of hype cause he looks so damn amazing.

re: SEC allstars
I would almost rather seem this all star SEC conference team play the other conferences over a playoff system... I'd love to see SEC vs. Pac-10....

re: SEC allstars
Yeah I'm not flaming- they are all good players... I'd put Peterson on the 1st team for sure

re: SEC allstars
IMO Peterson would be the #1 CB but Arenas is so versatile you have to add him in there also. He's so damn good on blitzes and run support. He is built like a truck.
