The problem is that Russell Wilson actually claims Wisconsin as his alma mater when talking to the press. And to think Spurrier turned Wilson away when he came knocking wanting to transfer to SCAR - we already had Garcia and Shaw. Also, we had beaten Wilson two years in a row while he was at NC State - but it ended well for Russell by him going to the weaker B1G and competing at Wisconsin ... who, ironically, SCAR demolished in the Cap One Bowl in 2014.
