Here's How Ole Miss Is Paying Tribute To Chucky Mullins

On October 28th, 1989 Ole Miss defensive back Chucky Mullins’ collided with Vanderbilt fullback Brad Gaines, leaving Mullins a quadriplegic and which eventually led to a pulmonary embolism from blood clots due to inactivity. He later passed away in May of 1991. This year marks the 25th anniversary of that tragic event, and to pay tribute to Mullins, every player will wear his number on their helmet against Memphis this weekend...
They will also be retiring his number Saturday. Nice job, Rebels.
