Well, if you didn't know, Auburn head basketball coach Bruce Pearl was fired from Tennessee because he lied to the NCAA about inviting three-star point guard recruit Aaron Craft to a barbecue at his home. This lead to a three-year show cause penalty. Ouch. Well, now Bruce wants to throw another barbecue and wants the SEC Network to film it...

That statement apparently resulted in some laughs from reporters, but Pearl is serious about the idea.

“Got to make sure the guest list is what it needs to be,” Pearl said. “But don’t you think the fans want to see that and understand so much of what we do is beyond just the basketball, it’s about the books. Go in there and watch a coach do class checks or be in a study hall situation where there’s some academic integrity. Those are the kind of things, those stories can be told.”
