This whole shoplifting crab debacle didn't do Florida State QB Jameis Winston any favors going into next season, especially with his father. Antonor Winston told Rachel Axon of USA Today that he thinks FSU should have someone with his son at all times to keep him out of trouble.
quote:

"He's supposed to have somebody around him 24/7," said Antonor Winston specifically. "He a Heisman Trophy winner so (he's) definitely not supposed to be by (himself)."
This is what Florida State athletic director Stan Wilcox had to say following Winston's father's statement, per Axon...
quote:

We are committed to doing everything in our power within NCAA rules to provide Jameis Winston with the resources he needs to thrive as a student and an athlete. We will continue to work with Jameis and his family to make them aware of all the support services the university has to offer.

This is the mindset of people now a days. Depending on other people to properly raise their kids and teach them right and wrong.

How come thousands of other players don't need a babysitter? Maybe Antonor shouldn't have raised a damn fool.

Someone please hold my 22 year old sons hand so he don't be a thug and steal crab legs. Maybe that attitude is why he is screwed up in the first place.
