After the SEC voted on Sunday to keep permanent cross-division rivals, South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier thinks after all is said and done, Florida has the toughest schedule...
quote:

“To me, Florida’s got the toughest schedule of any of us,” Spurrier said. “That’s a tough deal for Coach [Will] Muschamp. He can’t complain about it and can’t say anything about it, but I’ll say something: He’s got the toughest schedule in the conference with only six home games. They’ve got Alabama and LSU next year. Did you know that? That’s brutal.”

“It’s not exactly fair by any means,” Spurrier said. “But that’s the way we’ve always done it. We can still fill the ballparks and the interest is at an all-time high. We’ll worry about that fairness later on.

“In college football, you are whatever your schedule is. Nobody gave a dang last year that Texas A&M, their four out-of-conference games were Texas El Paso, Sam Houston State, SMU and Rice. That was their four out-of-conference games, and I think all four of them were at home. … They gave up Texas to pick up Sam Houston State, and nobody said a word about that.”

The OBC will never pass up an opportunity to take unsolicited shots at an opponent.

Should be who may have the toughest schedule. I doubt anyone picked teams with Mizzou and Auburn on their 2013 schedule to have the toughest.

It better not be Alabama or someone in the SEC office is going to get fired.

"He's right"? You know who else has to play Auburn, LSU, and Alabama next year? Every other SEC West team. Miss St. and Ole Miss have to play A&M/Auburn/Alabama/LSU next year. Arkansas has to play the above 4, Missouri and Georgia.

And LSU has Alabama and Florida every year. Alabama seldom plays Florida since Tennessee is their permament East opponent. I'm not knocking Tennessee but they will always be an after thought until their AD decides to throw money and hire a well proven coach who is also great at recruiting.
