After getting death threats and other negativity following the Crimson Tide's loss to Auburn, this is the encouraging handwritten letter Alabama kicker Cade Foster received from former president George W. Bush. The letter reads...
quote:

“Life has it’s setbacks. I know! However, you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best. Sincerely another 43”
Pretty cool.

Dont understand why people were so mad at the kicker. He missed a very long field goal in a tie game. Field goals at that range are a coin flip at best. The other 10 Alabama players lost the game when they let Auburn run it back.

Sharpies are generally used when celebrities sign autos and memorabilia. That is the usual case. W is a very good man with strong values and a big heart.

I believe he's a decent, kind man. He has quietly done numerous things like this in the past. I think the man is genuine, and truly cares enough to give the young man some encouragement.

Classy gesture by W, That young man will hopefully not let those kicks bother him but let them drive him to success

He never had to learn how to write. Always had the auto-pen.

Handwriting and Sharpies? You people would bitch if hung with a new rope.

I think it's a class act and shows the character of the man.

I just finished reading a book which repeatedly mentioned him picking up a Sharpie to sign legislation or something. What is with the Sharpie, Bush?!? Get a pen!
