Today, recruit Rafe Peavey was visiting the University of Arkansas when he took a picture. This was no ordinary locker room picture though, because he was holding a Razorbacks helmet that had never before been seen by the public. Not sure if these are new helmets that will be worn in 2013, or if they were just a special promotional mockup...

1. We've known about this helmet design for a long time, we just hadn't seen them yet.
2. It's not a violation and pretty much everyone does it.
3. They will be used this year.

"The fact that he took a picture in uniform on a recruiting visit is a recruiting violation; I'm pretty sure"

No its not. Now if they gave him the jersey or the helmet or both then there are issues. When my nephew was recruited Ole Miss had a locker decked out with his name on a plaque and his name on a jersey with his high school number on it. When he left I'm sure the plaque was thrown out and the name patch on the jersey changed for the next kid coming in.

Looks better than the white hog on the white helmet.
