During the week of Super Bowl XLVII, the Baltimore Ravens received superb treatment by the New Orleans Police Department, who provided motorcycles escorts and round-the-clock security protection.

Per USA Today, Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti donated two personalized 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycles to the New Orleans Police Department Traffic Division.

The gifts, which New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu and police superintendent Ronal Serpas accepted, were presented by Ravens receiver — and DWTS contestant — Jacoby Jones on Wednesday.
quote:

“We wanted to do something to show our appreciation for how well our team, our families and our fans were treated by everyone representing New Orleans,” Bisciotti said in a statement released by the team.
Furthering their gratitude, the Ravens also took out a full-page ad in the Times-Picayune, thanking the city’s citizens for their warm welcome and hospitality.
