Alabama Commit Breaks H.S. Rushing Record

Alabama commit and four-star running back Derrick Henry out of Yulee (Fla.) High School broke the national career-rushing yards record during a 41-26 playoff victory against Perry (Fla.) Taylor County on Friday night. Henry surpassed Ken Hall's previous record of 11,232 yards on a 52-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Hall, who held the record for nearly 60 years, played at Sugar Land (Texas) High School from 1950-53. He finished the night with 482 yards and six touchdowns on 58 carries. He now has 11,612 yards and 148 TDs in his career.
