Memphis has fired coach Larry Porter who has gone 3-21 in two seasons with his alma mater. Porter spent five years on LSU's coaching staff under Les Miles where he had a reputation as one of the top recruiters in the nation.

I agree, we should lose at least 1 coach after this season. Hopefully not, but if so, porter would be great add to go along with Wilson. That could be one of the greatest Recuiting Combo's in College history.

Well if our staff gets raided after this season (as usually is the case after a NC run), he'd be a great one to get back.

Wow, Sure not the way it used to be, when coaches were given at least 4 years to get their recuiting going on. Now you either produce or you hit the road. Certainly can understand that 3 wins in 2 years is not good enough. Wonder where Porter will bo off to now?
