Following an NCAA investigation into improper benefits and academic misconduct, North Carolina has vacated 16 victories from the 2008 and 2009 season and is imposing a two year probation that includes cutting three scholarships for each of the next three years and paying a $50,000 fine, but will not impose a postseason ban. The school still must appear before the NCAA infractions committee on Oct. 28.
