I dunno...the PAC-12 might really mean it. Not so much that they want to stay at 12, but the schools that take them to 16 aren't really there. They don't want Boise, UNLV, Nevada, etc. for academic reasons. Stanford and Cal will veto Baylor, TCU, SMU, or BYU because they're religious institutions. New Mexico and NMSU suck at football. Oklahoma is attached to Okie Light and requires more travel than it's worth. The sips are going to bring the baggage of the Longhorn Network and their constant demands for a disproportionate share of conference revenue.
