NY Jets Interested In Randy Moss?

According to the New York Daily News the New York Jets are legitimately interested in signing free-agent wide receiver Randy Moss.

But the article goes on to say they're doing this to possibly get some leverage in their talks with Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes. All this talk seems to be weird until we know we're having a season, no?
