Mississippi State offensive lineman Ben Beckwith will replace Dillon Day at center this Saturday when the Bulldogs host the Aggies. Per The Clarion Ledger:
quote:
Beckwith started the first four games of the season at guard. He'll move to center due to a one-game suspension to Dillon Day.
"Ben going in at center right now is a great leader," MSU offensive line coach John Hevesy said. "He's been around here for five years, done a lot of things. We have all the faith in the world in him."
The Southeastern Conference suspended Day due to "unsportsmanlike acts" he committed against LSU.
