Sports Illustrated is reporting that four Kentucky freshman football players have been suspended for Saturday's game against South Carolina for their involvement with air pistol shots being fired near a residence hall on campus.

Running back Stanley "Boom" Williams, backup quarterback Drew Barker, wide receiver Dorian Baker, and defensive end Tymere Dubose are officially suspended for violating team rules. Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops and athletic director Mitch Barnhart said the players could face additional internal discipline.
According to the report, police responded to shots being fired on campus on Sunday. Witnesses said they saw several college-age people leaving the area and when authorities went back to investigate the following day, they found an air pistol. The school also released surveillance images of "persons of interest" related to a shooting, with one of the images clearly showing Williams, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
