An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I FBS senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.

Collins, who is on pace to graduate in 2015 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, is in his second season as LSU’s starting left tackle where he earned second-team All-SEC recognition as a junior.
Collins leads all LSU offensive linemen in snaps played this season at 188. He had a career-best 11.5 knockdowns against Sam Houston State.
