Had Jennings played against these defenses, he would have went over 300+. You now what those defenses had in common? They were all SEC defenses. I rewatched the game, and nearly every single one of his passes (minus the two screens to Fournette) were on point. Two of his passes were throwaways.

With more experience, Quinn makes that one catch. Smith had a pass hit him right in the hands, Dural tripped up on a pass that was right on the button, he was also PI on another, and Dickson dropped another pass. If he got only two of those passes, you're looking at a 300+ night with a little over 50% completed. Not bad for a guy with young pass catchers, going against last year's 18th ranked pass defense.

Mett hit only 50% of his passes with 250 yards last year against TCU and he had Beckham, Landry, and a running game. Mauk only hit 51% of his passes during the four weeks he played last year. He played against an overrated UF secondary (they had Hargreaves and even he was beat), a crappy Tennessee defense, Kentucky, and an ok USCe defense where he did worse than Jennings.

9/21 and he would have been picked off by SEC DBs about 4 times. Way too much arc on his passes and no amount of training is going to change that.

Since Harris saw one series only? Not good.
