LSU redshirt freshman wideout John Diarse intends on being a solid receiving option for the Tigers in 2014.

After waiting a year, Diarse has impressed his teammates in camp and now some are even comparing him to former LSU wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Per the Advocate.com:
quote:

“He’s our Jarvis,” redshirt freshman receiver Avery Peterson said.

“He’s a big body,” Travin Dural said. “Besides Tony (Upchurch), he’s one of the biggest receivers we have. He can go across the middle and take those licks without a problem. It’s like having a tight end who can really run.”

“(John is) a great student of the game, and he knows every position,” Peterson said. “He knows it all. If we forget something or we don’t know something, we go get John. John knows everything.”
Diarse is 6'0", 210 pounds and was a four-star prospect out of Monroe, LA (Neville). On LSU depth chart, he is the #2 Z wide receiver behind Travin Dural.

all he needs is a catchy nickname and he'll be all set for a big year followed by offseason problems.
