“Glenn is a true pro who has quickly become a valued contributor to our organization both on and off the field,” said 49ers general manager Trent Baalke. “He is a quick study and a very good football player that has earned this extension, and we look forward to his future contributions.”

During his first season with San Francisco in 2013, Dorsey appeared in all 16 regular season games (13 starts), in addition to the team’s three (two starts) postseason contests. He recorded two sacks, tallied 100 tackles for the first time in his career and helped the team rank fourth in rushing yards allowed per game (95.9) in the NFL.

He was also selected by his coaches and teammates as the 49ers Defensive Blue Collar Player of the Year.

Superstar? If fans outside of a small area don't realize someone is a superstar, it pretty much means they aren't a superstar.

Fans outside of LSU might not realize that this guy is a superstar so for him to win blue collar awards after a decade of dominance is a testament to his greatness.
