Sports Illustrated released its preseason Top 25 on Wednesday and LSU is ranked No. 14. Here is what they had to say about the Tigers:

LSU TIGERS
2013 RECORD: 10-3 (5-3)

Saying LSU’s roster is young is like calling "Breaking Bad" intense or Kanye West outspoken. The Tigers have relied on freshmen and sophomores in each of the past few seasons, and the pattern will continue since seven underclassmen entered the 2014 draft. The latest recruiting class features dual-threat passer Brandon Harris, rangy wideout Malachi Dupre and, most notably, running back Leonard Fournette, whom coach Les Miles, at SEC media days, compared with Michael Jordan. LSU needs more than just strong performances from its newest arrivals, though. The defensive players who started to break out in 2013 have to emerge as stars.?
Here is the complete Top 25:

1. Florida St.
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State
5. UCLA
6. Michigan St.
7. Auburn
8. Oregon
9. Stanford
10. Baylor
11. South Carolina
12. Georgia

A lot of good teams with a lot to prove this year. The popularity contest of pregame hype will be done after a few games....And yes it will be fun to watch the Notre Dames, Baylors, and MSU's fall...If not for pregame polls, some of these schools would never be a TOP 25 anything. In just a few weeks, we shall find out if all the "young talent" develops and which teams develop the most important characteristics...(team chemistry/heart)

LSU is easily a Top Ten team! Ranked lower than Notre Dame! You've got to be kidding!

Notre Dame should definitely not be ahead of us. Have you even seen the defense?

Baylor, MSU, and Notre Dame should not be ahead of us. Have no problem with the rest until we're proven.
