Les Miles released some good news on Quentin Thomas after a scrimmage on Wednesday Aug 13th and said that Thomas could be back with the team sooner than expected. Original Article:
Multiple sources are reporting that LSU starting defensive tackle Quentin Thomas will miss the 2014 season with a torn bicep.
Thomas, a redshirt junior from Breaux Bridge, suffered the injury during practice on Wednesday and will need at least six months of rehabilitation.
Greg Gilmore, Frank Herron and Maquedius Bain will all get a chance to fill Thomas' spot.
Some believe RS FR Herron has the best chance of taking over the spot, and Les Miles just said that Herron is "a beast" on Thursday.
