CBSSports.com released some really early 2014 College Football Bowl projections on Thursday and they have LSU playing in Capital One Bowl against Michigan State.

Here are the four teams they think will make the College Football Playoff:

"How are you guys NOT understanding Bama being there? They have a favorable schedule this year (minus LSU away). They bring a lot back on O and D. Biggest concern is QB play. However, according to EVERYONE in the country - AJ McCarron sucked, so it shouldn't matter who we put back there. They have a loaded class from a year ago that is now Soph's. They got a MASSIVE haul this past season of incoming freshmen that is one of the greatest classes ever recruited.

Barring injury and/or LSU going undefeated, they should be a top 4 team. Stop being a bunch of homers and throw some logic in to the equation."

Cute, a Bama fan telling another fan base to stop being a bunch of homers; that's like Obama condemning Socialism.

On another note, CBS always plays their prediction close to the vest. They provide good sports coverage but have little imagination in terms of predictions and are afraid to predict anything outside of their norm. Lets just wait and see how the season plays out. After all, CBS claimed Bama was the second best team in the NFL last season and we see how that ended.

CBS 'expert' Pete Prisco has Jalen Collins going #11 and Jalen Mills going #23 in next years draft. I don't even think they watch football at CBSsports.com.

Come on guys, Bama will be up there until we take them down. They had to take us down to be there so I don't mind this at all. Relax Tiger fans, LSU is DBU again but this time we've got an OC!

LSU's chances are just as good as Bama's at this point, IMO.

How unimaginatively predictable the playoff picks are. As for Bowl projections - just laughable at this stage.

McCarron was a much bigger part of Bama's recent success than people seem to think. Without him, 1/9 probably goes into overtime 0-0, and they lose at least two games in 2012.

Alabama being so high makes sure everyone else has to climb up and over.

I don't get having Bama in the top 4. They replace as much as LSU and they'll have a new OC. I'll never understand rating teams highly in the future based upon past success.

I am not understanding the love affair with Alabama being rated so highly
