Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. — No. 19 Alabama defeated sixth-ranked LSU, 5-1, Saturday night in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field to even the SEC series at a game apiece.
Earlier in the day, LSU blanked the Crimson Tide, 2-0, with a complete-game effort by junior right-hander Aaron Nola.
LSU is 36-14-1 overall and 14-11-1 in the SEC, while Alabama is 32-19 and 14-12.
