Former LSU defensive end Jordan Allen told the Arizona Daily Star on Tuesday that he will transfer to the University of Arizona.
quote:

"I was just ready for a fresh start; something different," Allen told the Star today. "I wanted to find a place where I could come in and help the team and ultimately help them win a championship. Arizona seems like the perfect spot to do that."

Allen is a natural defensive end, but could also play some on the inside for the Wildcats, who are desperately searching for a nose tackle.

Originally from West Monroe, La., Allen visited Arizona earlier this month and said he felt comfortable from the start. He said he chose Arizona over TCU.
Allen will graduate from LSU this semester and head to Arizona in May. He has one season of eligibility remaining and will be able to play this year.

Well, I really did like that guy but it is obvious why he is going. This is obviously the best move for him and will keep his draft stock up into the first four rounds. As for LSU, this obviously verifies the reviews that we've all heard about Hunter's awesome potential being realized.

I wish him luck, he came on strong last season, but then he got hurt, and Hunter got most of his playing time. I think he will have a really good season for zona...
