Four-Star OG Richie Petitbon commits to Alabama

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama received a great news on Friday when Richie Petitbon announced his verbal commitment to the Crimson Tide.

Petitbon posted this message on Facebook on Friday:
quote:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many Coaches who I have met, and who have reached out to me during this past year of recruiting. It is with great pride and excitement that I announce that I have chosen the University of Alabama as my school for the next four years. I would like to thank all my Coaches at Gonzaga and the entire student body. Alabama has been a special place to me since my first visit last summer. The campus, student body, and the wonderful southern hospitality has been great. Thanks to Coach Saban, Coach Alabama Lance Thompson, and Coach Mario M. Cristobal. Roll Tide!!!!
The 6'4", 300-pound offensive guard from Washington, DC (Gonzaga) is rated as a 4-star prospect and the No. 4 overall offensive guard in the nation according to 24/7.
