Kentucky's Willie Cauley-Stein doubtful for Final Four with ankle injury

Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN.com is reporting that Kentucky head coach John Calipari doesn't expect sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein to play in this weekend's Final Four after injuring his ankle vs. Louisville in the Sweet 16.
quote:

Asked about Cauley-Stein's status on an NCAA conference call, Calipari said, "I doubt he plays. He will be on our bench, cheering like crazy."

Cauley-Stein injured his ankle during the first half of the Wildcats' Sweet 16 win against Louisville. He did not play in Kentucky's Elite Eight win over Michigan.

The sophomore big man was averaging 7.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks this season.
Marcus Lee, who had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks against Michigan, will likely be the one to step in and replace Cauley-Stein.
