AL.com has confirmed that former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron plans to take part in throwing exercises and be a full participant at this weekend's NFL Combine.

That means the former Alabama quarterback will be throwing for scouts Sunday when he goes through the on-field portion of his four-day stay at the biggest scouting event of the pre-Draft process.

It will be McCarron's first showcase in front of scouts since he closed his Alabama career in the Crimson Tide's Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma. McCarron declined an invitation to the Senior Bowl.
Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel and Fresno State's David Carr both will not throw this weekend. UCF's Blake Bortles will throw, and Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater is still undecided.
