Arkansas head coach Brett Bielema got a chance to speak with media on Thursday and he stands by the proposal to prohibit snapping the ball until at least 10 seconds run off the 40-second play clock. This is what Bielema had to say:
quote:

"If one of those players is on the field for me, and I have no timeouts, I have no way to stop the game," Bielema said. "And he raises his hand to stop the game, and I can't do it. What am I supposed to do?

"What are we supposed to do when we have a player who tells us he's injured?"
In regards to the claim that there is no hard evidence of increased risk of injury, Bielema had this to say:
quote:

"Death certificates," Bielema said. "There's no more anything I need than that."

"You have someone pass in the game of football on live TV, (and) see how that affects youth football."

Coach, for your own health and safety - give me 20 push ups right now! And what did you say? You lose every game because your opponent favors death panels? Oh - the humanity!

So does he actually have these "death certificates" or did he eat those too?

Brett Bielema can't handle SEC speed, the game is too fast for him.

Doesn't the game stop if a player is injured? His case is beyond weak, he has to dress it up with fear mongering phrases like 'death certificates'. This guy is nothing more than a fat frick that wants to change the rules for his own benefit.

What a gaping vagina. So the HUNH is killing players now? Gimme a fuggin' break. This guy is an embarrassment to Arkansas and the game of football.
