Recruiting: Trent Thompson is the new No.1 prospect for 2015

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports
According to 247Sports, defensive tackle Trent Thompson of Albany, GA (Westover) is the new No. 1 prospect in the 247 Composite Rankings which were released Monday afternoon. Per FanSided.com,
quote:

The 6-4, 292-pound recruit already holds offers from some of the elite programs in college football with the defensing champion Florida State Seminoles, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan State Spartans, Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers among his offers.

Thompson has named Georgia as his leader, but Auburn and Florida State have hosted Thompson for unofficial visits on multiple occasions could be viewed as the top early challengers for Georgia to land Thompson.
LSU commit Kevin Toliver II was the previous No. 1 in the Composite Rankings. The top ranking is likely to change, but for now Trent Thompson is No. 1.

shaking my head, rolling my eyes at thatdude comment)....why the hell do I need to explain it? Here.... I'll help you.

I want ANYONE to make a comment to justify the move.

We all know that the TD staff reporter didn't....The Good Ole Boys at 247 sure as hell haven't responded. There's no reason given why this happened, why Tolliver dropped, or why Thompson rose. If there was a reason, why isn't it documented?

It's why we all laugh at the "rankings"; especially at this time of year. Give me a reason why Tolliver dropped, or Thompson suddenly just "passed him up"... its a worthless article. This is just crap.

Let me get this straight. The #1 player AT THE END OF THE HIGH SCHOOL football season commits to LSU. The following week, with NO ACTIVITY by anyone, he drops from #1 and Thompson, with NO ACTIVITY, vaults to #1.

Care to comment or are you guys simply that desperate?
