Mark Richt Announces Georgia Coaching Staff Restructuring

Georgia head coach Mark Richt announced on Tuesday his restructuring plans for the coaching staff. The Bulldogs have not had a special teams coach in the past, but according to Macon.com, that is not the case anymore as they will now have two...

Tight ends John Lilly will coordinate units deemed as offensive special teams: Kickoff return, punt return and extra point/field goal.

Inside linebackers coach Mike Ekeler (hired last week) will coordinator defensive special teams: Kickoff, punt return block, and extra point/field goal block
Richt has also named running backs coach Bryan McClendon as the new recruiting coordinator. McClendon had a big hand in landing top running back Sony Michel, top defensive end Lorenzo Carter and receiver Isaiah McKenzie, among others.
