ESPN is releasing 2013 Season Report Cards for all SEC teams. Here is how they graded Ole Miss:

DEFENSE: B-
SPECIAL TEAMS: C

Before the season, Freeze said he wanted fans to temper their expectations for 2013. But after a thrilling opening win over Vanderbilt and a blowout of Texas in Austin to start 3-0, fans eyed a double-digit-win season for the Rebels. After opening with three straight wins, Ole Miss dropped three in a row before winning four straight. However, the Ole Miss offense stalled at the end of the regular season, leading to back-to-back losses to Missouri and Mississippi State to put a bit of a damper on the Rebels' close. Still, the Rebels won their second straight bowl game for the first time since 2009. Despite those late losses, overcoming injuries and depth issues to win eight games was an impressive feat by Freeze and his team.
