I think he would be a GREAT hire. The negative about Studrawa is on "technique", teaching lineman technique, not on teaching situational responsibilities. You can teach someone what they are supposed to do in a given situation, and go over it a hundred times, but unless you teach how they are to do it, it is not going to work. In a conference with so much parity in talent and ability, this is what makes the difference.

Comparing M. Jordan and his lack of coaching success to Mawae is a false point, and this is why.
The personification of a TEAM Player in football are O Linemen, the O Line has to move in sync to one purpose in order to be successful, Mawae was at the highest level.
Jordan was NOT a team player, it was Jordan and his supporting cast, always was. As well as comparing Pros to College; where players are still learning the game, techniques required for their position.

Mawae has the Creds to be respected by players, he knows what is required and how to get there. He has done it. The only question may be his ability to communicate that, I think he can and will, and I very MUCH hope he is given the opportunity to do so.

I don't see the problem with how the author worded this. He put a question mark in it so its asking a question. The author never stated for a fact he will be interviewed. Its in the realm of possibilities. Also helps by getting his link clicked, which is something every blogger/reporter does. Nothing dishonest about doing it this way. That being said, can Kevin coach? We all know he can play and might go down as one of the best of all times at his position, but so was Michael Jordan, and he could not coach a lick.

Would love to see Kevin coach our line. I'm not sure they feel he has the credentials due to no coaching experience but I believe he'd be very passionate about his job. Seems like a smart guy to me and he certainly has the career to back up one of the best olines in LSU's history.
