Bobby Pertino has officially been introduced as the new head coach at the University of Louisville. Petrino reunites with Louisville after leaving in 2006 to coach the Atlanta Falcons.

After leaving the Falcons, Petrino returned to the college ranks as the head coach of Arkansas in 2008 but was fired in 2012 following an accident in which the coach was injured while riding a motorcycle with his mistress, a former Razorbacks volleyball player, whom Petrino hired on his staff.

At Louisville from 2003 to 2006, Petrino was 41-9 leading the Cardinals to a 12-1 mark and the schools first BCS bowl victory in the 2006 Orange Bowl. He is 83-30 overall throughout his college coaching career, including an 8-4 record this season with Western Kentucky.
