Red Hot Chili Peppers: Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Metallica: Metallica
Pearl Jam: Ten
Nirvana: Nevermind
U2: Achtung Baby

This article talks about how a great album Achtung Baby was lost with all the other releases that came out that year.

All those other albums were solid, but none of them made the panties drop like Achtung Baby...

Did r kelly release anything in 1991? Im pretty sure he didnt, meaning 1991 wasn't the best year for music.

91 also had Smashing Pumpkins Gish.

But I think my vote goes to 1984, even thought that wasn't my style of music.

Mozart: Symphonies 12, 13, 14 and his version of Miserere was published

Boccherini: String Quintet in E 11:5

Any one of these pieces destroys everything produced in 1991.

The correct answer is no. There is not a better year than 1991. Throw in Guns and Roses Use Your Illusion 1 and 2.

Absolutely not. Great year. I remember hearing Alive for the FIRST time at HS talent show about a month before it hit all the airwaves and car stereos. I thought it was an origianl by the kids on stage. LOL.
I do however hate RHCP or their label for not being on Spotify for most part though. :banghead:

This was the 1st cd I ever bought. My brother just bought the new 20-year anniversary sets of Nevermind and Ten. I was amazed that not only had it been 20 years since their release, but that they both came out the same year. Solid work, '91.
