That was quick. Per texas.247sports.com, Mac Brown says he isn't going anywhere...
quote:

"Shortly thereafter, Mack Brown responded to the resignation reports, denying the initial story. He told 247Sports, via text message, the following:“I haven’t seen (the) article,” Brown wrote.

“I’m in Florida recruiting. If I had decided to step down I sure wouldn’t be killing myself down here. I have not decided to step down.”

him saying "killing myself" blows my mind...what a poor choice of words...tells me how much he hates doing his job

"I have not decided to step down" does not precisely mean "I am not stepping down".

Recruiting in Florida via private jet = "killing myself" according to Mack Brown.

In other news, Nick Saban says he is NOT going to be leaving the Miami Dolphins to be the next coach at the University of Alabama. Also the only way Tommy Tubberville is leaving Oxford is in a pine box.
